This session invites educators to explore the concept of wahkohtowin—the interconnected relationships that bind us to one another, the land, and our more-than-human relatives. Through a Métis lens, participants will deepen their understanding of how these relationships shape ways of knowing and being. Educators will learn respectful, practical approaches for engaging students with the land as a living teacher. Together, we will explore how land-based learning can nurture connection, reciprocity, and belonging in educational spaces.
