Ashley Killins & Brandee Brown, Building Safer Communities
Building Safer Communities is a community-driven initiative that supports building youth resilience and connection though prevention, education, and intervention. Building Safer Communities is funded through Public Safety Canada and is in partnership with the Lethbridge Police Service. Through the programs Educator Services initiatives, Ashley Killins and Brandee Brown focus on providing educational tools and support tailored to the needs of youth, and those who support youth in our community. Their programs and educational resources related to Online Safety were developed in direct response to concerns raised by community stakeholders and the increasing prevalence of high-risk online behaviour among youth. It’s designed to empower both youth and caregivers with practical resources and guidance.
