K-3, Grades 4 - 6

This series will focus on using assessment data from a variety of sources (teacher-created and provincial assessments) to inform instruction in whole and small groups, and with individuals as needed Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Bring and begin to organize their assessment data
  • Begin to create actionable instructional plans tailored to the needs of the whole classroom/curriculum as well as student needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share strategies and ideas.
  • Explore resources, assessments, and progress monitoring tools.

Jan 6 - Triangulation of Data, Concepts of Print, & Phonological Awareness
Jan 13 - Phonics & Fluency
Jan 20 - Comprehension & Vocabulary
Jan 27 - Writing - Thin Slicing Data
