Dianne Brodie
Designer of Professional Learning
With over three decades of experience, Dianne has served as an elementary classroom teacher, school-based lead teacher, and divisional instructional coach. In addition to her role as a Designer of Professional Learning, she works with students and teachers as an early literacy intervention support teacher. In all of these roles, she has focused on both building students’ literacy skills, and nurturing their lifelong love of reading and literature.
Dianne specializes in practical, inclusive classroom literacy strategies, targeted reading interventions, curriculum implementation, and meaningful assessment. Grounded in the firm belief that teachers are the ultimate experts on their students, Dianne’s coaching and professional learning opportunities bridge the gap between educational theory and daily practice by ensuring educators have direct access to the research that supports their work.
