Collette Sylvestre serves as the Director of The Alberta Professional Learning Consortium: South Office, a role she commenced in August of 2024. A visionary educational leader, she is committed to supporting educators across Southern Alberta by driving professional learning that enhances practice and student achievement. With a Master of Education in Curriculum, Teaching and Learning and over two decades of experience, her leadership centers on fostering deep collaboration and building the capacity of teachers and leaders to create inclusive learning environments founded on the principles of Universal Design and the strategic integration of technology to support data-informed practices.

Collette works alongside the South Office's expert team modelling a reciprocal learning approach, ensuring regional colleagues have barrier-free access to professional resources that are relevant, practical, and adaptable to Alberta's curriculum.
